NEW! Hot Kosher Dinners @ University Dining!
Chabad is proud  to announce for the first time ever at U of I, fresh kosher dinners will be served at university dining halls! These meals can be purchased with i-card credits, as part of the university meal plan.
 
Rabbi Dovid Techtel has been working with the university dining for over a year and a half to make this happen. "This is a major breakthrough for Jewish life on campus," says Rabbi Tiechtel, director of Chabad at U of I, "this is an issue students and parents have been asking me about since I first moved here three and a half years ago. And now it's finally happening."
 
Starting Spring 2008:
KOSHER DINNER, EVERY NIGHT, Monday - Thursday. 4:45-6:45pm @ Allen Hall/LAR dining hall.

Lunch is served every Tuesday at Falafel on the Quad. Enjoy Falafel like you never have before while supporting victims of Terror. Every Wednesday on the Quad in front of the Union, Falafel, Pita, Salad, Chumos and more. $4 a falafel sandwich, going to support victims of Terror.
Lunch is served every Wednesday at the Union FREE from 1-2pm. Join Rabbi Dovid's lunch 'n learn. Grab some food for the body and some thoughts on the weekly Torah portion to nourish your soul. Served at the Union's Courtyard Cafe. 

Every Friday evening, Chabad serves a five course dinner FREE of Charge for students, as part of the Friday Night Live program see Shabbat at Chabad, RSVP info@JewishUIUC.org

Hot, kosher lunches on campus.
Served at Chabad. Each homemade meal includes an entree of fish, chicken or meat; a side dish of vegetables or a hearty soup; rice, pasta or potato dish and fruit.

The New County Market on 4th & Springfield has just partnered with Chabad and put in a MAJOR section of Kosher Items. 2 Full freezers worth of Meat, Chicken, Pizza, and much more!! In addition to the full Kosher dry good section.

Schnuks in Champaign, located on Mattis Ave
Schnucks carries a full line of Kosher foods, Meats, Dairy, dry goods and more. In addition they carry and extensive line of Kosher for Passover items (75 feet of items!), starting in Late February.
